Monday, January 28th marks 7 months of my living in Europe (5 in Berlin, since I was traveling around for 2). Time flies by when you're having an adventure. Yes, yes, I've mentioned adventure already, several times already. Well, it's great to be here, I feel completely at home in Europe, and Berlin.
The snow has been coming down, and I love it. Growing up on the west coast, I would see snow, I would have a winter - but the snow wouldn't stick and the winter wasn't up to the typical standard of what the rest of the world assumes Canadians are used to, leaving the people of the west coast to be total wusses. Ya, that's right, WUSSES!
Vat ist dis WUSS you say?
"Oh, but you're from Canada so you must be used to this weather!", and then I reply, "Sort of, not exactly, kind of, sure...". My time briefly spent in Kraków, before returning to Berlin, helped thicken my blood. It was A LOT colder there!
This weather is also good for hibernation, and I've been busy with writing. Wood-shedding has to happen for artists, and what time could be better then right now - with the falling snow to watch outside your window?
I'm grateful for my snow boots :) |
I took part in a Dr. Sketchy's Anti Art School Berlin event on Sunday, January 27th, 2013. It was a "Pillow Session" involving four models, myself being one of them, and it's safe to say we all had a fantastic time!
